Evolve IP: Mtel Will Go Full Service in 2019
A year ago in August, cloud solutions company Evolve IP announced the acquisition of Mtel. It bought the Netherlands-based company to advance its expansion plans in Europe.
Since then Evolve IP has been working to build on the Mtel strategy. And late last month Evolve IP announced that Mtel’s transformation into a full service cloud communications and computing provider is quickly approaching. It will be complete by 2019’s first quarter, according to Evolve IP.
Mtel has been in business for nearly a decade. It sells business communications and collaboration solutions. That includes contact center tools like IVR solutions.
Under Evolve IP, Mtel will be able to deliver and deploy more highly customized cloud solutions to meet advanced compliance requirements in Europe, Evolve IP says. This expanded strategy will involve the introduction of new conferencing, collaboration, and contact center solutions; support for Microsoft Office 365; the addition of highly skilled customer service and engineering associates; and enhanced compliance, network management, reliability, and security capabilities.
“We truly appreciate all of Evolve IP EU’s clients supporting us through this transition and are excited to be providing them with new services and features, top-tier support, and world-class reliability,” said Leon Schuurmans, director of business development for Evolve IP EU. “We are also thrilled for our team in the EU as they go to market with new features that will enable them to compete and win in the fast-moving unified communications, collaboration, and contact center space.”
Evolve IP describes itself as a cloud strategy company. It serves more than
420,000 users and more than 1,900 enterprises.
