The cloud was once a curious proposition, but today it is the foundation of communications for the foreseeable future. The pocket-friendly, high-performing and highly flexible technology is taking the business communications norm and turning it on its head. Today, from NextCon, attendees were able to get a glimpse of what to expect from the future of cloud communications.

During his Keynote session today, Nextiva CEO Tomas Gorny announced the arrival of a new and improved NextOS. The company explains, this is the “start of an evolution towards simplifying business communications,” as this announcement serves as somewhat of a departure for the cloud communications firm with a focus on democratizing access to industry-leading communications solutions.

NextOS is primed for 2018 availability, and touts being the industry’s only available offering capable of combining fragmented communications technologies on a single platform, which would enable organizations of all shapes and sizes access to enterprise grade team collaboration and customer engagement tools.

The newest iteration of NextOS showcases robust workflow automation and predictive modeling evolving communications toward a truly seamless experience. The new NextivaServiceCRM offers users a complete view of customer history, employee information and more while also providing real time touch point access of the customer journey.

Nextiva Analytics is a feature Nextiva is focused on, with a new and improved service offering deeper, more accessible insight than previous generations of NextOS. And, Nextiva Surveys brings a user-friendly tool chock full of insights for any organization. NextivaChat is a browser-based chat that enables both internal chat as well as live chat for the company website.

“Everything Nextiva has developed was driven by a steadfast determination to simplify how businesses use technology to communicate,” said Tomas Gorny, CEO, Nextiva.  “With NextOS, we are empowering businesses to provide optimal customer experiences and we have created a new standard in workplace communication.”

A few things are abundantly clear with the new release. Nextiva is putting innovation to work to empower on-demand availability of information, flexible admin access, easy to understand real-time analytics and graceful navigation.

NextCon runs through October 25, and is hosted at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nextiva is never short on news, so this is an event it pays to keep an eye on.
