What Does the Future Hold for the Virtual PBX Space?

Although a virtual PBX can enable a business in their respective industry to see major benefits, like gaining access to a unified communications platform that encompasses functionalities such as low cost international calling, rich HD voice quality, zero setup fees, no requirement for any additional hardware or software and a high level of scalability, will this product still prove fruitful in years to come?

The answer to the above question is s resounding yes. Just look at the recent findings from an Infonetics report. Analyzing the North American PBX market specifically, combined TDM and IP extension shipments surged by nearly 11 percent when looking at the same period a year ago prior.

Yet, it seems as if the PBX space might not be seeing all rainbows and lollipops, a fact that is highlighted by the slower growth rates shown within Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa where double-digit declines year over the year went down by approximately three percent.

Companies typically turn to a virtual PBX in hopes of revolutionizing their overall communication landscape in hopes of driving a higher level of efficiency within operations, as well as raising the bar on overall customer satisfaction. When a customer needs to leverage a robust assortment of communication channels to resolve complaints and answer technical questions, a PBX is a saving grace of sorts that ensures an incoming call is immediately routed to the agent best suited for that particular situation.

There are many PBX providers currently in the market, thus a major challenge for companies currently is teaming with the best partner that can help them to meet their specific goals. Arizona-based Nextiva is proven again and again to measure up to increasing user demands at a cost-effective price.

It also values each and every customer interaction, receiving continuous accolades for its “amazing service.” Just last month, the virtual PBX expert was chosen as the 2013 best business VoIP provider by BestVoiceOverIP.com, a highly respected online directory for Voice over IP (VoIP) service providers.

"Operating our business using a traditional phone system was not practical, Nextiva offers a really elegant solution for linking remote teams that has solved some key challenges and really exceeded our expectations," Ryan Peterson of ImportGenius.com, said in a statement.

While the PBX space may not be expanding as quickly as hoped throughout the globe, here in North America the industry is flourishing, and you can’t help but think that Nextiva plays a role in this rapid growth.
