Recently, MTN Business unveiled its plans to launch a new virtual service called MTN Hosted Private Branch Exchange (PBX), in order to help improve inter-communications within corporations nationwide.

The company operates as a fully, converged, one-stop service provider that claims it is able to take your business to the next level by offering it the largest range of mobile and Internet-based communication services. The company specializes in designing a 360 degree communication solution that includes fixed and mobile Internet access, data centers for hosting websites and applications, calling and messaging centers, and Software-as-a-Service applications.

The newly unveiled PBX will offer additional features such as multiple attend conferencing, a fully functional call center, and more.

“Organizations can now have the opportunity to focus on their core business while MTN manages its extension lines for its employees without having to invest in full blown PBX infrastructure,” the company said in an official statement.

MTN plans on hosting the new PBX system fully through its own enterprise network and is in-charge of everything, allowing customers to spend significantly less on the service.

Eric Nsarkoh, general manager of MTN Business, added that this would benefit companies all over the world. “With MTN Hosted PBX, businesses no longer need to worry about the significant cost of managing and maintaining in-house communications systems. They can focus on their core business and MTN will deliver the needed communications solutions. With state-of-the-art features, this solution gives businesses greater power and productivity.”

The virtual PBX provider plans on releasing the new service with capabilities including call transfer, call forwarding, three-way calling, speed-dialing, caller identification, call waiting, call conferencing, integrated auto attendant, virtual receptionist, and intelligent call routing and queue – allowing for even the smallest business to gain access to a fully integrated call center.

Further, the new service will allow customers to add on more extensions lines as needed, based off of a per month fee schedule.
