Virtual PBX: Edgewater Networks Certifies IP PBX Solutions from Positron

Virtual PBXs are slowly replacing traditional PBX equipment. While this transition is gaining momentum, ensuring interoperability between existing systems and the new virtual PBXs is also highly important.

Edgewater Networks, a provider of Enterprise Session Border Controllers (ESBCs), has just revealed that its SIP Trunking Interoperability Lab has certified Positron Telecommunication Systems’ G-Series IP PBXs.

EdgeMarc ESBCs help enterprises resolve interoperability challenges between SIP trunking service providers and enterprise PBX systems, as well as assist enterprise customers leverage these services while providing a consistent signaling interface to the service provider.

Additionally, the EdgeMarc also provides VoIP-aware security and quality of service (QoS) to ensure high quality voice calls and integrated call quality monitoring is available to simplify problem resolution.
