Unified communications is your organization’s lifeline in the WFH world. The dust has settled on the migration home, and cloud adoption continues to ascend to new heights. As companies move to cloud communications, SD-WAN is central to this transition to ensure performance is as expected.

WIndstream Enterprise (WE) announced the addition of Google (News - Alert) Assistant and Amazon Alexa to its SD-WAN services allowing network admins the ability to efficiently keep tabs on the network.

"Digital voice assistants are becoming essential in everyday life, and use is increasing as work-from-home and hybrid working environments take hold; therefore, Windstream (News - Alert) Enterprise is giving customers the same seamless, innovative and high-tech experience with their unified communications and SD-WAN management," said SD-WAN Expo veteran Mike Frane, vice president of product management at Windstream Enterprise (News - Alert).

The WE OfficeSuite UC solution already comes with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa but now SD-WAN customers gain access to SD-WAN Daily Summary, Ticket Summary and Ticket Activity via logging into the WE Connect management portal and simply stating, “Alexa, Ask Windstream to get my Ticket Summary,” or “Ok Google, Ask Windstream to get my SD-WAN overview.”

"Our philosophy is technology should make our customers’ lives easier and more efficient. We’re delivering on that goal by meeting our customers where they want to interact with us—on their portal, mobile device and now their digital assistant," Frane continues.

Since its rebrand in 2018, Windstream Enterprise started with a strong first step in stride, with no signs of slowing down.
