Business communications service provider Nextiva, has announced the launch of a new virtual fax service, “vFAX,” which makes it possible to send and receive faxes from anywhere an Internet connection is available.


According to officials with Nextiva, vFax was created in response to customer requests for a reliable and secure online fax application. The service is also a complement to the company’s line of business communication offerings including business VoIP  solutions.

Nextiva vFAX offers the ability to fax using traditional fax machines as well as send and receive faxes via email or mobile devices, or fax directly from most Microsoft applications.

In celebration of the new service, Nextiva is also offering interested clients a free test of the new virtual fax solution.

Recently, CompareVoIP.com, a resource for information on telecommunications services, awarded Nextiva a “Top Business VoIP Provider” for the third quarter of 2009. The award is given to the best phone service provider based on a number of factors including price, feature set, call clarity, network reliability and customer service.
