When you select a business VoIP system, it’s important to keep a keen eye on the network supporting it. Thanks to marketing departments there are many “best in breed,” “industry-leading solutions,” but not all live up to the billing.

Nextiva and Nitel announced a partnership in August 2018, today the duo unveiled the completion of a multi-site interconnection, which promises to deliver an exceptional voice experience over the Nitel network.

“In building on our partnership with Nextiva, we will deliver better voice quality and a simplified customer experience,” said Lawrence Edmond, Nitel’s senior vice president of engineering. “Partners have already showed great interest in our combined best-of-breed solution. Having completed our network integration, they can have a new level of confidence that they are recommending the absolute best for their customers.”

The announced deployment interconnects the Nitel and Nextiva at five common points of presence, which ensures QoS and offers improved visibility for accelerated troubleshooting.

“Nextiva always looks for the best of the best when choosing a strategic partner like Nitel,” said Ira Feuerstein, Nextiva’s vice president of strategic partnerships. “We are excited beyond belief due to the great synergies of our sales teams and now between our networks. This is going to make it simple for Nextiva and Nitel partners to sell a true world class solution”

Cloud communications is a crowded and extremely competitive, which demands the best from providers. Nextiva has never been one to rest on laurels, which explains its meteoric rise in this rapidly growing space.
