Business VoIP Solutions Provider Adds New Features to its Telephone System

WUN Systems, a provider of hosted business VoIP solutions, recently introduced four new features to its VoIP telephone system for executive suites and workspaces.

The executive suites will now boast extended hosted VoIP capabilities directly through the WUN Voice Softphone, Android devices, iPads and iPhones.

Touted as a carrier-grade, next generation Softphone application, the WUN Voice Softphone enables users to manage their communications easily and efficiently; all from a computer desktop. It is built upon the WUN Voice Platform and is specifically designed to meet the demands of businesses located all over the world.

WUN Systems’ new features can be deployed within an enterprise environment either by manual configuration via the Softphone Graphical User Interface or by using the WUN Voice Positioning Server, explained Dale Hersowitz from WUN Systems.

WUN Voice Android Edition is a highly secure, standards-based mobile VoIP Softphone that works over both 3G and Wi-Fi networks. It facilitates easy and effective communication management with an intuitive interface.

Additionally, the business VoIP solutions provider’s offerings also include advanced security settings that allow for secure call signaling and works seamlessly with other WUN voice desktop and convergence solutions.

Designed to be specifically compatible with Apple iPad and iPad2, the WUN Voice iPad Edition is a VoIP Softphone that leverages either a Wi-Fi or 3G connection to make and receive calls.

Further, WUN Systems is also now powering an integrated multi-tasking functionality that allows the WUN Voice iPad Edition to run in the background so users can access other applications while on a call. Premium feature add-ons are available including a presence and messaging features, as well as a low bandwidth audio code for bandwidth management.

The WUN Voice iPhone Edition is a VoIP softphone for Apple iPhone and iPod touch that uses an existing contact list and facilitates simple communication management that accommodates multiple calls.
