If you are familiar with the unified communications industry, Nextiva is certainly a company you’ve heard about since it’s a leading provider of cloud-based business VoIP services that help to make business communications easier, cheaper and much more efficient.

Today, the company revealed it will be expanding its footprint this year, nearly doubling its size by hiring more than 100 employees.

A major factor behind Nextiva’s exciting plans is the recent investment received by Unitedweb which will assist the company’s growth in 2012, a press release revealed. Already moving to a bigger office space that is over 30,000-plus square feet in Scottsdale, Ariz., the company is noted as being one of the fastest growing companies in the Silicon Valley this year.

Specifically catering to small and medium-sized businesses in need of cost-effective office communication services, Nextiva’s offerings allow any organization to get back to worrying about their business as they know they are in the hands of an extremely reliable VoIP provider.

“At Nextiva, providing amazing service to our customers is part of our DNA,” Yaniv Masjedi, vice president, Nextiva, said in a statement. “Whether providing technical support for a business owner or helping new customers provision their communication service, our commitment is to have the right people available to service all of our customers’ needs.”

Some of the many advantages that Nextiva customers have seen through leveraging this business VoIP solution is increased response times for setup and service calls, as 95 percent of calls can be answered by the second ring.

Closing out last year, virtual-pbx had the news that Nextiva had been placed on the Phoenix Business Journal’s "Best Places to Work" list. This recognition is an approval that validates the emphasis the company places on employee satisfaction, according to Nextiva officials.

In addition to business VoIP functionality, the company also powers a virtual PBX, which provides both unlimited local and long distance calling, without businesses being required to update their existing PBX equipment, yielding a maximum return on investment in a small period of time.
