IT EXPO Preview: Developing Services Using IMS

From October 24-27, 2005, TMC will host the 12th INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO, the industrys #1 VoIP conference in Los Angeles, California.

On Monday, October 24, 2005, Ken Osowski of Pactolus, along with a panel of experts ranging from Brooktrout to Lucent Technologies, will be presenting a session titled Developing Services Using IMS as part of the IMS Summitt at Internet Telephony Conference & EXPO.

Developing Services Using IMS will educate the audience on IMS architecture and the benefits, challenges, and service deployment implications for this exciting service infrastructure technology. IMS architecture can support a large variety of diverse IP-based services including push-to-talk, color ring-back tones, speech activated dialing, unified messaging, media transcoding, and multimedia conferencing. Speakers will also discuss a pragmatic migration to IMS, including the benefits of integrating VoIP and mobile services, as well as the multiple services involved in true mobile call convergence.
