Webinar - China's Internet Users Growing Rapidly

It has been revealed that by June of 2011, the great country of China boasted over 485 million Internet users. With an exorbitant amount of Chinese Web users who are equal to the total population of the U.S., the U.K., Canada and Germany combined, the country’s Internet population shows no sign of slowing down any time soon. Recent estimates even predict that the amount of users will reach nearly 718 million by 2013, which is around 52.7 percent of the overall population.

To meet the increasing demands from these Internet fanatics, back in 2000, China Telecom created its first overseas POP in Los Angeles and has been forced to continue to grow its international Internet bandwidth as the years progressed. At the end of last year, the China-USA international Internet bandwidth came in at 450G, which is over 100 times of that for the last decade.
