Webinar - TMC and Datacom Systems Present Webinar on Network and Security Analysis

When it comes to gaining insight into network traffic and security, businesses should have an application performance monitoring solution in place that offers a 360-degree view of application and service performance – from end-user experience and behavior to infrastructure.

On Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m. EDT/8 a.m. PDT, application performance monitoring solutions expert Datacom Systems, in partnership with TMC (News - Alert), will be hosting a webinar, entitled “Where’s Your Blind Spot? Improving Network and Security Analysis.”

Network and security engineers that analyze data, as well as network architects, network consultants and security consultants, are invited to attend this webinar to learn how connecting analyzers in a comprehensive and cost-effective manner can result in improved network visibility for the devices used in data centers for the purpose of gaining insight into network traffic and risk level.

In addition to a review of several customer case studies, attendees will take away from this webinar best practices for collecting and capturing network traffic, how to design data centers for network analysis, the impact of the cloud on network analysis and how to select the appropriate product features for tasks.

Presenting this informative, not-to-miss webinar will be Tim Crofton, vice president of business development and product management at Datacom Sysems, where he is responsible for strategic alliances, OEM relationships and partnerships, as well as the management of the product roadmap, market research and technical area services.

Before joining Datacom Systems (News - Alert) in 2005, Crofton – a 20-year veteran in the information technology field – served roles in security consulting and service practice development, managed a technical assistance center, and designed numerous IT technologies. With previous experience at NEC (News - Alert), the U.S. Department of Defense and Babcock & Wilcox, Crofton has focused on a variety of markets, including manufacturing, IT, utility, military, healthcare and education.

Crofton possesses a master’s degree from the State University of New York, where he studied computer science, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Clarkson University. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Air Force’s Air Command and Staff College.
