Webinar - Webinar to Focus on Benefits of the IP-Enabled Office

You want to know what the benefits of the IP-enabled office are. You’re in luck: On Tuesday, May 10, TMC (News - Alert) will present a Webinar titled “The Benefits of the IP Enabled Office,” which should be in your wheelhouse.

The presentation is scheduled for 2:00 in the afternoon on the East Coast, and 11:00 in the morning out on the West Coast. Click here to Register now.

You may have noticed that the business technology environment is becoming more and more complex. This means resource-constrained IT managers “now face the challenge – and cost – of managing an increasing array of traffic types, network facilities and communications equipment to deliver applications to users,” according to Webinar organizers.

In response to this, businesses are simplifying their business communications infrastructure with Internet Protocol. As the Webinar will discuss, selecting an IP networking product can help you meet your short-term business goals of cost management, infrastructure optimization and productivity enhancement.

Presenting will be Chris Connor, Director of Product Management at Level 3 Communications (News - Alert). He’s responsible for Level 3’s converged services product and multi-product bundling strategy, and has over thirteen years experience in telecommunications with a variety of roles including Product Management, Operations Management and Network Engineering.

Connor will also discuss how to protect your investment with a flexible, sustainable and future-proof environment.

No doubt you or somebody you know is familiar with Level 3’s work – last week TMC had the news that Level 3 was selected by six national broadcasters in the U.S. and Canada to provide delivery of live, high-definition video feeds from the wedding of Prince William to Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey in London to viewers in North America.

Using Level 3 Vyvx Services, broadcasters including CNN and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation were organized to deliver coverage leading up to and including the wedding on April 29, one of the most-watched television events in history. Insert Princess Beatrice hat joke here.
