Dan Murphy is a pioneer and thought leader in the Internet of Things industry - and is a frequent speaker and panelist on topics such as connected products, platform strategies and application delivery technologies.

As a result of PTC's recent acquisition of Axeda, Dan is excited to step in as the VP of marketing for the new joint Axeda and ThingWorx marketing team. Dan is responsible for the global marketing organization including product marketing, marketing communications, partner marketing, and lead generation. He has over 20 years of technology marketing experience in various industries, primarily in software, security and cloud platforms with market-leading companies including Symantec, Macromedia, and PTC. Dan received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
