NetNordic, which provides communications solutions to enterprises, has partnered with Avaya Holdings Corp. to launch Helo.Cloud Norway. The service is based on Avaya’s contact center and unified communications technology.

Tom Darell, managing director at Avaya Norway, commented: “The mid-market enterprise sector is the engine room of the Norwegian economy. But many vendors either focus on larger enterprise customers, or provide solutions that don’t deliver the scalability, resiliency, and flexibility most smaller and medium-sized enterprise customers are looking for.

“Helo.Cloud will give companies working with NetNordic access to a robust business-grade cloud communications options,” he said. That will meet “customers’ expectations for reliability, security and rapid deployment, synonymous with the Avaya brand.”

Business Communications Strategies notes that Avaya’s UC solutions help companies drive productivity, improve customer service, and lower costs. They support email, instant messaging, telephony, and video over multivendor networks. And they’re based on open, stanrds-based software and hardware. It adds that Avaya is a contact center solution world leader.

“Avaya’s contact center solutions include intelligent routing, self-service and proactive contact applications that drive effective communications and transactions with customers,” BCS said. “In addition, Avaya’s analytics and reporting platform, Avaya IQ, provides companies with detailed customer information that improves profitability and customer retention.”

Avaya in 2016 occupied the leader box in both the worldwide Contact Center Infrastructure, and Unified Communications Gartner Magic Quadrant reports. Gartner placed Avaya alongside Cisco, Genesys, and Interactive Intelligence in its Magic Quadrant for Contact Center Infrastructure, Worldwide report. Meanwhile, Avaya joined Cisco, Microsoft, and Mitel in the leaders quadrant of Gartner’s UC report.

Analysts generally consider Avaya’s cloud communications portfolio to be solid. The company is profitable. And most sources indicate the company has strong leadership.
