This week, Mavenir announced its Mobile-Native Unified Communications and Collaboration as a Service (mUCaaS) solution, created specifically to acknowledge the mobility needs of SOHO and SMBs. The solutions leverages Mavenir’s immense mobile network knowledge with Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and Rich Communication Services (RCS).

“This is not just another OTT UCC or Cloud PBX/UCC solution. We’ve taken a different approach to UCaaS for MNOs, that we enable every day across billions of users – voice, messaging, connectivity. MNOs now have an opportunity to leverage their existing mobile network strengths and investments, instead of reselling a me-too wireline-based solution, and finally delivering a true differentiated mobile native experience,” said Pardeep Kohli, President and CEO, Mavenir.

Mavenir’s mUCaaS solution is rapidly deployable due to its carrier-grade managed Global Cloud. The solution is additionally available as a mobile UCC software stack for MNO in-network deployment consideration.

Added Guillaume Le Mener, SVP/GM, Enterprise Solutions, Mavenir: “Our mUCaaS solution allows users to call and message anyone in the world with an unparalleled user experience — because their business-critical communications are prioritized by the mobile network using quality of service indicators that don’t have to compete with other existing OTT UCaaS applications. Only Mavenir’s mUCaaS can offer this prioritized ‘VIP’ treatment from mobile networks.”

Mobility and the cloud are two key themes to watch moving forward. As UCaaS adoption continues to rise so too will innovative solutions capable of supporting our always on, always plugged-in world.
