The country has been watching the traveling circus known as the American Presidential nomination process for some time. Whether you can #feelthebern, are voting to “Make America Great Again” or hoping to “Cruz to Victory” chances are candidate call centers have reached out to solicit your vote. This week VirtualPBX launched a contact center for the Nevada DNC. The more than 100 agent call center will be crucial to Democratic efforts, as it is responsible for voter outreach and volunteer coordination—two key cogs in the wheels of American politics.

The rapid deployment includes seats for 120 agents, a toll free number and 16 local numbers. Hosted phone systems are gaining popularity for three primary reasons: cost savings, speed of deployment and scalability.

“Once the main system is in place, new lines can be added or removed all with a few clicks of the mouse from any internet-connected remote location,” added Peyton. “In a race for the primaries, this type of flexibility and the ability to react to the needs of the campaign can potentially be the deciding factor between success and failure.”

All campaigns rely heavily on communications, especially those last minute phone calls to undecided voters with hopes that those leaning toward “Hillary for America” will “Feel the Bern.” So whether you’re in a blue, red or even purple state, candidate call centers play a crucial role.
