Virtual PBX Provider Named Careerbuilder Top Companies to Work for in Arizona

One of the more impressive images of companies in Silicon Valley is the working environment they have created for their employees. Everything from free hot lunches to yoga classes, laundry service, carwashes and a ping-pong table are some of the perks these businesses offer to lure and keep high-value talent. Whether the company is located in California or another part of the world, this practice has now become standard in almost all tech organizations. An Arizona company, Nextiva, provider of cloud communications, was named a 2015 Careerbuilder Top Companies to Work for in the State for the second year in a row because of the quality work environment it provides for its employees.


Nextiva reported it was considered for this award after finishing a two-part assessment process conducted by Best Companies Group (BCG). As an independent workplace research firm, BCG carries out an extensive evaluation of a company in order to distinguish organizations that have demonstrated superior workplace excellence. The company looks to identify and recognize places of employment that have made employee experience one of their top priorities.

The first part of the survey focused on benefits, HR policies and the fun aspects of the company culture, while the second part concentrated on employee experience covering a range of topics. This included: work environment; pay and benefits; corporate culture and communications; relationships with supervisors; role satisfaction; training and development resources; and overall engagement.

"It is an honor to be named a Careerbuilder Top Companies to Work for in Arizona for the second year in a row," says Yaniv Masjedi, Nextiva's vice president of marketing.

For its part, Nextiva said it has created an environment in which employees are satisfied with the work because of the recognition they receive for their achievements as well as a solid career path that ensures a successful future.

“This list of winners had impressive employee survey results averaging an overall favorable rate of 88 percent and an overall employee engagement score of 91 percent, which is more than double the national average. These winners should be very proud of their engaged workforces,” said Denise Gredler, CEO of BestCompaniesAZ and consulting partner for the program.

The company not only provides a great environment for its employees, but it delivers customer service that is recognized in the industry as one of the best. This includes what Nextiva terms as “amazing service” by making 50 percent of its staff available in tech support, answering 95 percent of all its calls within three rings and holding its employees to an 85 percent call resolution rate.
