BroadConnect Adds Capabilities to PBX Solution

BroadConnect Telecom, a provider of hosted VoIP, virtual PBX, video and data services, has unveiled its latest cloud-based collaborative solution for enterprises and small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) as part of BroadConnect’s Hosted PBX and SIP Trunking suite.

The portfolio is similar to Hosted Microsoft Exchange and enables businesses to expand their reach around the globe, the company said. The service is powered by BroadConnect’s own private nationwide network.

“Powered by the largest private network in the country, and now the latest in collaborative solutions for the business environment, BroadConnect is presenting businesses of all sizes with cloud-based security regardless of where they operate,” said Jason Stephen Ali, social media director at BroadConnect, in a statement.

As part of the offering, the robust PBX solution targets enterprises looking for secure collaboration tools that allow them to improve communications across all levels. It provides employees with the solutions needed to better interact with colleagues, clients and vendors. They are also given access to the resources they need to work smarter and as a collective unit.

The hosted deployment model even brings significant cost savings compared to services that are managed in house.

With its new hosted collaboration product in place, BroadConnect provides customers with access to next generation, business-grade applications that are accessible a via PC, laptop and most handheld devices. The all-encompassing solution powers an auto attendant, speech recognition capabilities and automatic call routing, allowing users to benefit from a single solution instead of being forced to leverage mix and match solutions and products from multiple vendors.
