Virtual PBX (News - Alert), a Hosted PBX phone systems provider, recently cut its business VoIP prices by up to 70 percent.
Company officials said the new business VoIP packages will make VoIP and advanced digital phone services affordable to enterprises. Its customers will now be able to pay for a year in advance.
Users who will pay in advance will receive up to 10 free VoIP phones, which include Polycom (News - Alert) IP phones in the market.
"Our new packages eliminate many of the concerns and risks related to deploying a high-quality business VoIP system. We're confident that these new plans deliver the highest value available today," Paul Hammond, CEO and president of Virtual PBX, said in a recent statement.
With annual plans starting at $8.99 per month, Virtual PBX claims that these one-year plans will set the company apart as the first major business VoIP provider to include quality VoIP desk phones and wireless handsets in high-value customer plans.
Customers will get unlimited-use plans at $18.99 per month per user. Annual plan customers will receive up to 10 free VoIP phones, a value of $170 per phone, without any activation fees.
Officials also confirmed that the new plans will allow customers more minutes at a lower price with savings of up to 70 percent.
"Voice over IP telephony often offers reduced costs, which are extremely important in this economy,” said Larry Hettick, principal analyst with Current Analysis (News - Alert). “But up-front cost of buying new phones can be an issue, especially in the small business market. This move by Virtual PBX can help reduce the barrier to entry for their clients and make it easier for businesses to try VoIP.”
Related news reports Virtual PBX announced it is continuing to show strong growth over the last 15 months for its Virtual PBX Complete business VoIP solution product.
