EnGenius Launches EnStation6 Offering Outdoor Wi-Fi 6 Connectivity

EnGenius Technologies, a provider of connectivity solutions, unveiled the EnStation6, an outdoor Wi-Fi 6 access point that promises unmatched performance and extended coverage.

Using Wi-Fi 6 technology, this disc-form access point caters to demanding tasks like 8k ultra-HD video streaming and high-volume multi-application traffic, making it a cost-effective alternative to running fiber cable in outdoor settings.

In additon to Wi-Fi 6 technology, the new offering optimizes antenna signal and reception through beamforming technology so that Wi-Fi connectivity is efficient in outdoor environments.

The extended coverage provided by the new offering is made possible thanks to high transmit power of 26 dBm, meaning it can cover expansive outdoor areas or connect multiple buildings with ease. In point-to-point or multi-point deployments, the EnStation6 can achieve a  range of up to 6 miles.

EnStation6 is also equipped with 2x2 directional 19dBi antennas for speeds of up to 1,200 Mbps in the 5 GHz frequency band and is designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. With weather-proof and dustproof IP55-rated housing, it can be used even in challenging environments.

A user-friendly EnWiFi app makes local AP configuration and monitoring simple.
