Windstream Enterprise Partners with Fortinet to Launch LAN Services

IT managed services provider Windstream Enterprise announced it’s teaming up with Fortinet to offer customers better network security. As part of the new collaboration, they will launch LAN services for their managed services portfolio. This will give Windstream Enterprise customers seamless integration of their networks and simplified management of their IT infrastructure.

LAN services help avoid service degradation and support business growth by allowing businesses to stay up and running. With Windstream Enterprise LAN Services, powered by Fortinet, customers can leverage a dedicated team of experts to support the configuration, monitoring and maintenance of their network.

“With our unified Fortinet stack, customers can benefit from one managed service partner to deliver it all, backed by white-glove support from a personalized team of technology experts,” said Chris Alberding, senior director for SASE, SSE and SD-WAN for Windstream Enterprise.

Using secure WiFi & Analytics, they can also gain expanded visibility and richer business intelligence into things like customers' shopping habits or ways to improve employee productivity.

“Furthermore, this allows for the seamless integration of LAN Services with other strategic network security and collaboration solutions from Windstream Enterprise, including Managed Network Security (MNS), SD-WAN and OfficeSuite UC — helping our clients gain business intelligence, enhance security and improve customer and employee experiences,” said Alberding

Cloud-Managed Switches also connect and streamline wireless access points (WAPs), IP phones, IP cameras, printers and other LAN devices to a wide area network (WAN).
