Bandwidth Welcomes New COO

Enterprise cloud communications provider Bandwidth Inc. has been in the tech space for over 20 years. The company helps enterprises connect people around the world with cloud-ready voice, messaging, and emergency services.

Recently, the company announced a newly created position and appointment to the role of Chief Operating Officer at Bandwidth, Anthony Bartolo. Beginning February 28, the tech industry veteran will help the company grow its enterprise customer base and promote its best-in-class communications platform as a service for app developers.

Bartolo has over 30 years of experience in tech and has worked with some of the industry's largest companies including Avaya, Nortel, and Tata Communications. His experience spans cloud communications and software-as-a-service to helping businesses scale global revenues, driving new commercial strategies, and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve profitable growth.

"Anthony is a unique combination of disciplined operator and cross-functional team leader who has led billion-dollar P&Ls around the world. He has a strong track record of successfully building new revenue streams, transforming product portfolios and driving global customer acquisition at world-class companies in our space," said David Morken, Bandwidth's Chief Executive Officer.

In his most recent role, Bartolo was Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Avaya. Here he helped the company to transition to a SaaS-based business model and help it to gain significant new customer wins as well as an 11-fold increase in annual recurring revenue.
