P2 Telecom to Distribute net2phone Technology in Partnership

The world of technologies to support remote working and virtual collaboration has never grown faster than it has during the global COVID-19 pandemic. Cloud communications and business VoIP solutions provider net2phone recently announced an alliance with P2 Telecom. Under the terms of the partnership, P2 Business Solutions, a Stamford, Connecticut-based distributor of technology solutions for businesses including mobility, voice, data, VoIP, hardware and managed telecommunications, will offer net2phone's suite of cloud communications solutions via its agent network. Net2phone, which was acquired by IDT Corporation in 2006, is a 20-year-old “dot-com” survivor based in Newark, New Jersey that provides solutions and services for business communications. IDT is a provider of telecommunications and payment services.

"net2phone is unique in that they have their own outstanding solution for cloud communications and collaboration and they bring a different layer of support with a channel-centric approach,” said  Bill Patchett, Founder & CEO of P2 Business Solutions, in a statement. “They can quickly produce quotes and on-board customers with ease, which is crucial to the success of our agents."

P2 Business Solutions is a member of the Technology Solutions Xchange (TSX), a consortium of master agents in the telecommunications and cloud space.  TSX offers its members an expanded portfolio of connectivity, cloud, hosting, cybersecurity and IoT vendor solutions. Patchett is cofounder of TSX.

net2phone stated that it chose P2 Business Solutions as a partner because of its commitment to technology agents.

At the enterprise level, net2phone offers cloud PBX, huddle technologies, Microsoft Teams direct routing and SIP trunking. It also offers a portfolio of add-on features, including reporting, analytics, international calling, business messaging and voice mail, and API integration.
