Digium Launches New Business VoIP System

Digium, Inc. announced this week that it is making three major updates to its Switchvox Unified Communications (UC) solution. These changes will include the release of four high performance appliances, the introduction of a streamlined pricing model, and the inclusion of 24x7 technical support for all new on-premise deployments.

The four new high performance appliances make up the E-Series, which consists of the E510, E520, E530 and E540, and are the most powerful and affordable Switchvox appliances to date. Digium is excited to offer small and midsize businesses better options for a business VoIP phone system.

Additionally, the company has made improvements to the existing all-features-included pricing model of Switchvox. The hope is to make it easier for partners to quote and for customers to purchase the offerings.

In terms of the customer service changes, Digium will now be able to ensure 24x7 world-class technical support for all new on-premise deployments. This allows customers to feel supported all day, every day, which will ultimately keep customers happy and coming back for more services.

Adam Kramer, Digium's Switchvox product manager, discussed the company’s reasons for making these changes by saying, “Today, the majority of on-site UC systems come with steep price tags, a plethora of options, and complicated licensing models that make the process of buying a new phone system difficult for businesses.
