GeoLinks Acquires One Stop VoIP

VoIP is making its way toward ubiquity, as Internet telephony has shown time and time again its benefits are undeniable. Powering our digital transformation is communication and collaboration, so it makes a whole lot of sense that service providers are working to put together comprehensive portfolio’s shock full of feature-rich and future forward solutions.

Case in point, GeoLinks, a B2B Internet Service Provider, announced it has acquired One Stop Voip, a cloud-based telecommunications service provider. With the acquisition, GeoLinks gains all of One Stop’s existing customers, IT infrastructure, Unified Communications capabilities and key staffers – making it possible for GeoLinks to expand its portfolio to offer hosted voices services.

The new hosted voice solutions will launch in Q3 of 2017. New additions to the GeoLinks team include One Stop Founder & CEO Dexter Allen, Senior Director of VoIP Business Development and COO and Co-Owner of One Stop Paul Kasavets. Kasavets comes on board as Senior Director of VoIP Operations.

"This has been a historic year for GeoLinks so far," said GeoLinks' CEO Skyler Ditchfield. "Recently announcing our company rebrand and launch into the national market, One Stop VoIP represents our first official acquisition. This search has been exhaustive, not just to find the right company but to find an executive team that moves at our pace and fits our culture. It's not a small feat that GeoLinks has achieved 100% growth six-years-running. Throughout the onboarding process it was evident that both Dexter Allen and Paul Kasavets shared the same capabilities and passion for innovation that GeoLinks values so highly. We have been looking to add Hosted Voice to our service offerings for some time now. One Stop VoIP's products and services co-align perfectly with GeoLinks as a whole, and with our flagship fixed wireless product, ClearFiber. Overall, everything about the acquisition is a natural fit."

The B2B communications space is highly competitive, with innovation, service and cost serving as primary differentiators. Augmenting the portfolio is one thing, delivering on customer expectations is another. The move sets GeoLinks up nicely, but only time will tell.
