ABP Technology, net2phone Get Together on VoIP

There's a lot of value coming out of the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) market these days, and with good reason. Increasingly, companies are seeing that this connectivity tool not only allows access to new features that regular phone service might not provide, but also often at lower costs. Recently, the VoIP market got a shot in the arm from a new partnership between ABP Technology and net2phone.


The new partnership calls for ABP Technology—well-known in the field as a communications infrastructure provider—to bring in net2phone's line of cloud-based communications systems for ABP's technology partners to offer up. Part of net2phone's lineup includes both session initiation protocol (SIP) trunking and hosted private branch exchange (PBX) operations. Said operations are sufficiently powerful to offer unlimited international calling from both the United States and Canada to 23 different countries. Better yet, this service is offered at a flat monthly rate, so for those companies that do a lot of international calling, it could represent enormous savings.

ABP Technology's vice president of business development, Kurt Dow, commented, “net2phone's worldwide infrastructure provides very low latency for a positive customer experience. net2phone is a 3CX-tested and supported SIP trunk provider so our partners get a seamless solution. By coupling our IP PBX solutions, whether on-premise or hosted, with net2phone's SIP Trunking, we make it easy for our partners to rollout quick and problem-free installations.”

It's a good combination that should work well together. ABP has a wide-ranging reach and a lot of contacts in the market that might well be looking for cloud communication tools. Meanwhile, net2phone offers an impressive option in cloud communications, and could use access to a bigger market without having to commit a lot of cash to expanding a sales force. All net2phone has to do is supply the product in exchange for most of the revenue, and ABP can offer up a new product, making a percentage of sales to do so and improving its own reputation for being a “miracle worker” in the meantime. ABP has the contacts, net2phone has the product, and between the pair, there should be a lot of room for success here.

That combination of a company with an established reputation in the market and a company with a quality product has been seen before, and has commonly delivered value. This version should prove no different, and ultimately give both ABP and net2phone plenty of extra sales and revenue as a result.
