innovaphone PBX Adds 'Call Me Button'

A truly effective communication solution has to be simple and accessible to everyone. The integration of a "Call Me Button" by innovaphone into its PBX using WebRTC expands the capability of this API even further.


As one of the first German companies to make WebRTC standard in its VoIP PBX and Unified Communications solution, innovaphone has been advancing professional business communication for some time.

The Call Me Button is a free Java script from the innovaphone myPBX toolbox that lets you integrate the widget on your website. You can choose to display it at the edge of the website or store it directly on the website.

The widget can display the status of the contact person's presence, meaning whether they are available or not. And because it is using WebRTC technology, it has buttons for telephone calls, video telephony and application sharing as well as storing emails.

This particular feature has great potential for businesses of any size to have live customer service when someone is visiting their website. Anytime someone is browsing a site, with this widget they can quickly get answers to any questions they might have about a product or service that is being viewed at the time. Whenever the click any of the buttons, the innovaphone PBX forwards the call from the web browser directly to the right customer service representatives, which can turn prospective buyers into customers.

The potential for small businesses is even bigger, because they can now have call center like services without the prohibitive cost of outsourcing.

The Call Me Button technology is part of the innovaphone myPBX unified communications client and the overall communication services the company provides with an integrated user interface (UI). This UI brings all of these resources together and makes them accessible whether you at the office, in your home or on the road. Users can access traditional IP telephony, audio conferences, company directories, connection protocols, presence information, instant messaging, collaboration sessions and video communications.
