PhoneSuite DIRECT's Managed VOICE System Brings VoIP PBX Options to Users

With summer travel season now in full swing for some—and others waiting for summer to get just a bit older before hitting the road—the hospitality industry is looking at ways to provide all the services and amenities travelers increasingly expect and in the most efficient fashion possible. That's led to a new offering from PhoneSuite DIRECT, a voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) private branch exchange (PBX) tool known as Managed VOICE.

Managed VOICE is geared specifically toward the hospitality industry, and offers a means to not only buy a VoIP platform, but also to have it installed by the factory outright. This means a smoother, simpler deployment that's less likely to break down and is also easier to get users on board with. Plus, several major features come along that few hoteliers could pass up: call accounting systems, voicemail tools, long-distance calling options, and more. There's even access to software updates and a complete 24 / 7 support system designed to give users the most stable platform that can be had. It supports both session initiation protocol (SIP) and analog phones, offering the best in quality of service (QoS) monitoring for each call going out.

ManagedVOICE builds on the previous successes of PhoneSuite Voiceware, which is currently at work in properties with a range of sizes, running from 50 rooms to 1,600 rooms, proving that it both pays careful attention to the smaller user and has the capacity to handle larger users.

PhoneSuite DIRECT's vice president Keith Konicki noted “I truly believe PhoneSuite DIRECT's Managed VOICE is the right solution, at the right price, at the right time for our industry. With its open architecture, full-turnkey services and evergreen platform, hoteliers won't have to worry about becoming a victim of PBX Regret.”

With so many mobile users out there, the line between vacation and work often blurs to at least some degree, and few can resist at least checking email or the like while on vacation. The urge to get a little something done and feel that sense of accomplishment, or even just throw a little vacation fun into a normal workday, becomes a part of a lot of workers' lives. Thus hotels are left to accommodate this desire—not to mention that of the business travelers still out there—and tools like PhoneSuite DIRECT's lineup become a useful part of that.

This should prove an attractive proposition for users who want to make a little work part of their vacation, or for those who need to be out of the office and working remotely. PhoneSuite DIRECT may have handed at least certain hotels the ability to compete a little better in a field dominated by possibilities.
