Secure Communications are vital for homeland security, first responders and other field operators. Technical Communications Corporation (TCC), a company specializing in communication systems, has announced the availability of its new radio headset and telephone encryptor, the HSE 6000.

Enabled by TCC’s X-NCrypt Cross Network Cryptography, the HSE 6000 is a small lightweight, self-powered radio headset and telephone encryptor which operates with most radios. It can be easily connected to corded handset telephones used with VoIP, digital and analog telephone networks, and interoperates with TCC's military secure radio DSP 9000 family.

X-NCrypt Cross Network Cryptography is an application of TCC's military DSP 9000 voice encryption technology. DSP 9000 is a universal secure radio encryption solution that operates with most radio makes and models and all frequency bands, seamlessly overlaying atop existing voice networks for cost-effective, end-to-end security.

This HSE 6000 provides end-to-end secure voice communications and conferencing across the Land Mobile Radio voice communications of public safety special operations and telephone-to-radio conferencing between commanders and field forces.

"The HSE 6000 headset/handset radio and telephone encryptor provides strong voice security, including cross-network conferencing, that interoperates with our military DSP 9000 radio encryption family, while meeting the portability, simplicity, flexibility and cost-efficiency requirements of public safety special operations," Fidel Camero, director of business development, secure wireless and radio at TCC, said in a statement.

TCC's wide range of secure communications network encryption portfolio, along with its custom design, development and services offerings, provides solutions to meet broad secure communications and voice, data and video network encryption requirements of the military, government, public safety, and industrial and corporate enterprises.
