Plingm Launches Arabic Version of its Business VoIP Solution

In order to meet the increasing demands for mobile VoIP in businesses within the Middle East and Northern Africa, Plingm has recently unveiled the first Arabic version of its app which is available on multiple devices including Android, iPhone, iPad and the iPod touch.

Since January 2012, the number of Plingm app-users has increased by 5,000 percent in these locations due to the fact that consumers situated there leverage VoIP for domestic calls more frequently than anywhere else.

In fact, six of the top ten free social networking apps in Egypt’s App store are business VoIP-related appliations. In Jordan the figure is five out of ten, and in both Saudi Arabia and Tunisia four VoIP apps are amongst the top ten in the social networking category.

Plingm has been touted as the most used application within the social networking category in 36 countries and has an average rating of 4.5 in the App Store.

To develop and offer people friendly and cost-efficient ways to communicate, Plingm uses innovative technology and blends the new and old ways of mobile calling in a unique way. Calls from Plingm to Plingm are connected via the Internet and are always free.

The new add-on service from the company coined Plingm Out allows a call to be rerouted from the Internet to a traditional network at a low price, saving up to 90 percent on international calls. Plingm also supports free calls to Facebook friends and LinkedIn connections.

In related news, virtual-pbx reported that Plingm is now available in the App Store in Micronesia, which will help a large number of smartphone users there make low-cost and sometimes free calls to any location across the globe.
