Business VoIP Solutions Are Highly Effective in Improving Productivity and Staff Engagement

Business VoIP solutions provider SynergyPlus says VoIP for business can deliver far more than cheap business calls.

A key benefit of business VoIP solutions, according to SynergyPlus, is that it can form the cornerstone of a unified solution. Studies have revealed that employees prefer communications that are more integrated - and that businesses can only benefit by implementing a unified solution to communicate and access information.

A recent research validates the argument presented by SynergyPlus. Ninety seven percent of users of unified communications (UC) solutions, who participated in the survey, claim UC has increased their productivity. Additionally, the research corroborated the fact that business VoIP solutions, when combined with other Unified Communications tools, improved staff engagement, with 79 percent of users feeling more engaged in their work.

The most effective way to improve business communications is to integrate all diverse channels into a single Unified Communications solution. Business VoIP solutions can achieve this, according to SynergyPlus officials.

"The first building block of any unified solution is an IP-based PBX, the start point of any business VoIP system,” SynergyPlus official said. “Since the many different modes of communication are spread across the use of phones, mobile phones (both for call and for texting), e-mail, instant messaging, fax and audio and video conferencing, the one piece of equipment that can tie access to all of these together is an IP PBX.” The capabilities of business VoIP solutions are endless. People trying to call you can see whether you are present or not before they make the call. Subsequently they can then choose to communicate by an alternative method, for example by e-mail. Users of unified solutions are able to choose whether to pick faxes up by e-mail. Also, they can elect to bring them into Web or video conferences, making them instantly available to all delegates.

"By bringing in a company specializing in business VoIP solutions, you increase business communication efficiency,” said a Synergy Plus official in a statement. “You can therefore take advantage of all the benefits of VoIP for business and see the positive effects of unifying your communications and information access, while not being burdened by slow or optimized business communications.”

A recent virtual-pbx article lists some of the factors businesses considering to switch to business VoIP solutions should be watching for. These suggestions are put together by Nextiva, a provider of business VoIP solutions.
