Devicescape, a provider of Wi-Fi services, has reportedly
launched the first-ever free access to the world's largest Wi-Fi Network.
Users of the so-called
Easy Wi-Fi Network, will receive a high-quality hotspot network, with the new network offering global Wi-Fi access integrated with an easy-to-use hotspot map finder. The new service helps users find and connect to hundreds of thousands of hotspots all over the world. The service is monitored round the clock to guarantee optimal Wi-Fi connection performance.
Globally, consumers have shown high interest in Wi-Fi access. Devicescape had conducted a research among its consumer base comprising of more than 2 million Wi-Fi members. Results of the "Devicescape Wi-Fi Report" found that 93 percent of consumers are making buying decisions based on built-in Wi-Fi, while 84 percent insist on hassle-free access to Wi-Fi. The report also revealed that 53 percent of the Wi-Fi users want to use only free Wi-Fi.
On the basis of this research Devicescape worked further upon its popular Easy Wi-Fi consumer product line and introduced the Easy Wi-Fi Network.
The Easy Wi-Fi Network is a global network, that has been formed by regular discovery, classification, and monitoring of all the Wi-Fi hotspots encountered by Devicescape’s users. The company ensures that the locations its users see are ones which everyone can see and use.
In addition, members can also personalize their other networks to include all their hotspot accounts, such as Wi-Fi access offered by cellular or home service, commercial accounts or university campuses. Users can further extend their map view to include Easy Wi-Fi hotspots with their other accounts, which can help the map finder get updated and include all their hotspots, allowing them to be logged in automatically everywhere.
Access to the Easy Wi-Fi Network is free, and users just have to visit
http://www.easywifi.com or the Apple App Store in order to become an Easy WiFi Network member. Soon, the company will reportedly launch the Android (

Last April, Devicescape Software
incorporated its Devicescape Connect into the Slacker Portable to enable Slacker Portable users to make effortless connections to an expanded range of Wi-Fi hotspots. Recently, the company had
developed a new Serengeti application that made browsing the Internet even easier for
iPhone and iPod Touch users. The application also made Wi-Fi access more available for the users.
