Huawei and AIRCOM (News - Alert) International have announced a join partnership to integrate their technology and drive product interoperability and system integration. 

 

AIRCOM is an independent network planning and optimization consultancy, specializing in end-to-end network planning, sharing, outsourcing and support system optimization for IP and cellular networks.

 

The cooperation between the companies is expected to secure future OSS and interoperability of network management products and company officials believe this will ensure that only minimal customization and testing will be required by network operators deploying a Huawei (News - Alert)/AIRCOM solution.

 

Focused on network performance and configuration management, the integration technology partnership is expected to enable the integration of AIRCOM network planning tools OPTIMA and DATASAFE with Huawei’s wireless solutions through iManager M2000 management system.

 

A unified platform, Huawei’s iManager M2000 provides centralized management to all wireless technologies of Huawei, including GSM, UMTS, CDMA, WiMAX (News - Alert), LTE and more.

 

Huawei's robust investment in LTE research and development has accelerated the commercialization of LTE technology, said Ricky Watts, chief technology officer at AIRCOM International.

 

It is essential that AIRCOM technology integrates with Huawei solutions as seamlessly as possible, to guarantee a positive user experience for network operators, Watts said, adding that the company’s close working relationship with Huawei will ensure AIRCOM can develop and verify all technology interfaces, regardless of version.
