A Roswell, Ga.-based developer of mobile applications and services, i2Telecom International, Inc. has reportedly made its popular international calling solution, “MyGlobalTalk,” available as a free iPhone application on the iTunes online store.

 

In September, TMCnet reported the launch of MyGlobalTalk for BlackBerry (News - Alert) and Windows Mobile users. The MyGlobalTalk application for the iPhone will cut down international phone call costs for users based in the United States. With the offering, users can make international and long distance mobile calls irrespective of wireless carrier or voice/data plan for as low as two cents per minute anywhere in the world. This will be achieved by routing calls through the MyGlobalTalk network.

 

MyGlobalTalk works any place where mobile service is available. It does not require a WiFi (News - Alert) connection. The pay-as-go model eliminates the hassles of contracts, connection fees or call minimums. Users simply need to sign up for the service.

 

The solution offers an intuitive interface and features such as “Faves” and “History” lists for calls made only through MyGlobalTalk. The facility of integration with native iPhone (News - Alert) contacts list is also available.

Currently available in the United States for all versions of the iPhone, the MyGlobalTalk application can be downloaded exclusively from the iTunes App Store.”
