Samsung Electronics America, a subsidiary of
Samsung Electronics Corporation, the world’s second-largest manufacturer of laser printer engines, has announced a new line of wireless printers. The new small, sleek and silent CLX-3175FW, ML-1630W and SCX-4500W models have the ability to work anywhere in home and small offices.
The company attributes the increase in use of wireless printing to the significant flexibility it offers. The technology allows the users on the same network to conveniently print from anywhere making them more productive and efficient at their jobs. As wireless printing eliminates the clutter caused by cables and wires it also saves time and space both in the office and at home.

Alert) CLX-3175FW, ML-1630W and SCX-4500W models are equipped with integrated 802.11b/g wireless connectivity, and boast a compact, sophisticated design that will appeal to users with distinctive tastes.
“Our new wireless printer lineup shows Samsung’s desire to create products that makes conducting business simple for workgroups, without the hassle of wires and limitations that hard-wired printers impose,” noted Ken Colby, director of Product Management, Printers, at Samsung Electronics’ Information Technology Division. “The CLX-3175FW, ML-1630W and SCX-4500W models offer the plug-and-play connectivity and unobtrusive design that today’s users expect from Samsung.”
The CLX-3175FW, a wireless color laser 4-in-1 solution, allows for printing, copying, scanning and faxing. Available in an elegantly-designed, matte-black cabinet, the model features a high-speed USB 2.0 and Ethernet for instant plug-and-play capability.
The ML-1630W model features buttonless soft-touch sensor panels with blue LED indicators, and the company claims that it is one of the smallest, network-ready laser printers in the world. With its 45 dBA ranking, it is also the quietest printer in the world.
The third model, SCX-4500W is an ultra compact wireless laser multi-function printer available in a high-style glossy piano black finish.
All the three new models are now available at an MSRP of $642.99, $285.99 and $428.99 respectively.
