Cricket Communications Announces Availability of Muve Music Wireless Rate Plan

Cricket Communications (News - Alert) Inc., a leading provider of innovative and value-driven wireless services, has recently announced the availability of its Muve Music Wireless Rate Plan in new markets.




Muve Music will now be available in new Cricket markets including, Lexington and Louisville, KY; Cincinnati and Dayton, OH; Kansas City and St. Louis, MO; Pittsburgh, PA; San Antonio, Del Rio-Eagle Pass, El Paso, McAllen, Laredo, Brownsville, Corpus Christi and Harlingen, TX; Portland, Eugene and Salem, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Las Cruces, NM. Muve Music will also be available in 48 other existing Cricket markets across the United States.

In a release, Doug Hutcheson, president and chief executive officer of Cricket Communications said that, “We've now launched Muve Music in Cricket markets across the country covering 85 percent of our customers, providing them with a way to get the music they love through a wireless plan on a phone and over a network they can rely upon. We continue to be pleased with the response of our customers who quickly see the benefits of having digital music downloads as part of their monthly wireless rate plan.”

Some of the key features of Cricket Communication’s Muve Music includes, Unlimited nationwide calling; Unlimited nationwide text, picture and video messaging; Unlimited global text messaging; Unlimited 3G mobile Web; Unlimited email; Unlimited data back up; Unlimited video; Unlimited full track downloads; Unlimited ringtones; and Unlimited ring back tones.

Users can view, select and enjoy digital music right on their mobile phones and through Bluetooth-enabled products such as a home or car stereo. The transactions do not require a credit card or even a computer and enables users to download and listen to music while on the road.

In other news, Cricket Communications Inc. recently launched the LG Optimus C Smartphone.Reportedly the first Android (News - Alert) device by LG to be added to Cricket's phone offerings, the LG Optimus C Smartphone features a 3.2 inch HVGA touch-screen, Wi-Fi capability, 3.2MP camera/camcorder, music player and microSD slot, 600 mhz processor and a virtual QWERTY keyboard.
