Webinar - Advisory Firm to Present State of the Cloud Webinar
By Paula Bernier, Executive Editor, TMC
The only constant is change. This certainly applies to the tech industry in general, and the cloud communications space in particular.
Indeed, the cloud continues to evolve as different business cases and new technologies emerge. Just look at the rise of the hybrid cloud and the growing adoption of containers.
The players within the cloud space continue to change, expand and contract as well. For example, last year Dell (News - Alert) announced plans to buy EMC in a $67 billion deal. That deal is expected to close this year.
But keeping up with what all this means and how best to position your organization to get the most out of cloud solutions and suppliers can be a difficult endeavor. To help companies navigate the cloud waters, Paul Timmerman, CTO of Rolta AdvizeX, will offer his “The State of the Cloud in 2016” presentation during a Sept. 14 webinar of the same name.
Rolta AdvizeX provides advisory and consulting services to help enterprises develop comprehensive cloud strategies, get more value from their data to drive new business insights and secure their assets; managed services; and expertise in Microsoft and Oracle (News - Alert) applications. The company’s partners also include Cisco Systems, Dell, EMC, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, SAP, and RSA Security.
During the webinar, Timmerman will offer his suggestions about best practices, effective strategies and future expectations related to the cloud.
“The IT industry as a whole is moving toward simplicity, and being able to buy end-to-end solutions that include servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud components all from one vendor is not only simple but also smart,” wrote PJ Scalzi, senior vice president of business strategy for Rolta AdvizeX in an Aug. 11 blog. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dell and EMC (News - Alert) teams over the years, and there are clear synergies (as well as differences) that will play out over the next 12 months.”
The merger is likely to lead to more innovation, more integration, a deeper cloud perspective, best-of-breed solutions and Rolta AdvizeX says it will be in the center of it all.
