Prodapt Simplifies Aria Integration for Service Providers

By Greg Tavarez October 06, 2022

Remember the old days, when you purchased software on a CD (or even a floppy disk before that)?  It was a one-time transaction and, whenever the developer, like Microsoft (News - Alert), put out an updated version, you would have to buy the updated installation CD to get the new features.

Fast-forward to today, where most software vendors operate on a subscription model and offer their applications or cloud services on a recurring billing basis. The SaaS (News - Alert) model meant, though, software vendors needed to be able to manage billing and subscriptions effectively. It created a need for an entirely new business – the subscription and billing management companies, who are now needed to help companies reduce billing errors within their complex environments.

Aria, one of those subscription and billing management companies, is focused on expanding its cloud-based platform’s market. To that end, Aria (News - Alert) partnered with Prodapt to offer cloud SaaS billing solutions to service providers pursuing digital strategies.

“As service providers move beyond basic connectivity, introduce digital products and services and expand their partner ecosystems, they continue to move away from inflexible legacy BSS architectures,” said Tom Dibble, president and CEO, Aria.

Prodapt builds, integrates and operates solutions that enable next-gen technologies and innovations for its customers, which include telecom operators.

Prodapt’s MuleSoft connector will help configure and expedite synch account information, product information and billing and invoice information. It will also speed up Aria integration by five times and enable customers to view their billing, invoice and charges in real-time.

“The partnership will enable Prodapt to seamlessly integrate Aria within service providers’ IT environments at a lower cost, providing automated billing and partner management capabilities,” said Harsha Kumar, president of Prodapt. “It will also power the order-to-usage-to-cash processes involved in introducing new 5G-powered products and services.”

Through Prodapt and Aria’s partnership, CSPs can accelerate their digital transformation initiatives and will have easier access to Aria’s agile platform to maximize customer value and grow recurring revenue.
