Dialpad and Poly Collaborate To Enhance Remote Conferencing

By Luke Bellos December 16, 2021

It’s safe to say remote work is now an official part of modern work culture, which means businesses are becoming more reliant on virtual communications tools for employee collaboration and team meetings. However, many organizations are finding they need additional features, as well as heightened security measures, to keep work on track outside of physical offices.

Dialpad developers understand this fact well, which is why the AI-powered cloud communications leader recently collaborated with audio/video solution developer Poly to create a new line of enhancements for the Dialpad Meetings platform.

Dialpad Meeting customers are now able to utilize customizable virtual backgrounds, in order to keep conversations focused by eliminating background distractions. Users can also take advantage of enhanced screen sharing capabilities, as well as new security features to prevent unwelcome visitors from joining private meetings. Additionally, users now have the ability to join meetings using their mobile browser, making it simple to collaborate without downloading additional applications.

“Dialpad Meetings represents “the new next” in modern video conferencing and meeting room experiences to exceed user expectations and help teams work beautifully,” said Craig Walker (News - Alert), Chief Executive Officer, Dialpad. “The future of work is not restrained by employee or customer location, it’s borderless. The Dialpad cloud platform, along with our new partnership with Poly (News - Alert), gives people the ability to work smarter together from anywhere on any device they choose, and adapt to how they like to work.”

Along with the previously mentioned upgrades, Dialpad and Poly have worked together to co-develop conferencing solutions to support remote and hybrid activity. The Poly Studio X series product portfolio features highly advanced audio and video equipment, designed to create more immersive experiences for Dialpad Meetings users.

“Poly creates premium audio and video products which enable people to have their best meetings — anywhere, anytime, every time,” said Jeff Kubick (News - Alert), Head of Global Voice Service Provider Marketing, Poly. “Dialpad is leading the business communications industry and we are thrilled to join them and help define the future of work.”
