KEYNOTE - ALCATEL-LUCENT (K-01)

Jean-Pierre Lartigue leads the Marketing and Strategy Global Function within Alcatel-Lucent’s Wireless Division. In this role he is responsible for the global division strategy definition, market intelligence analysis and communication, pricing strategy, product positioning, internal communications, portfolio messaging, and knowledge transfer to regions/sales, customers, and media/analysts.
Prior to this, Jean-Pierre was the Vice President of Fixed Access Marketing and Communication. Here his responsibility was to oversee the market strategies, marketing and communications for Alcatel-Lucent’s broadband access, Digital Home and IPTV activities worldwide. For more than four years, he was closely involved in defining Alcatel-Lucent’s FTTH strategy, board member of the FTTH Council Europe and a strong proponent of deep fiber development in Europe.
Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent in 2002, Jean-Pierre was with the management consulting firm, Boston Consulting Group (Paris and Dallas offices), and served as Deputy Director General of Vision 1250, the European group for the development of high-definition and digital television.
Jean-Pierre holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from the French School of Telecommunication Engineers and is a published author of several papers and articles prepared as contributions to international conferences and symposiums.
He has more recently been the editor of the book “Breaking the Barriers”, gathering testimonies of experts about the global evolution of services and very high-speed broadband.

KEYNOTE - CA TECHNOLOGIES (K-02)

Adam Famularo is general manager for CA Technologies Cloud Computing, Customer Solutions unit, leading the team that brings to market the company’s cloud computing solutions. In this role, he is responsible for key aspects of the cloud computing businesses, including setting the vision, business strategy, product management, product marketing and driving the overall P&L for the business. Adam is keenly focused on understanding competitors and customers’ needs while determining product and go-to-market requirements.
Adam has held various leadership positions since joining CA Technologies in 1998. Most recently, Adam was senior vice president and general manager for the Recovery Management and Data Modeling business unit, where he led the turnaround of the ARCserve and ERwin product lines by focusing on developing innovative, best-in-class software, hiring the best sales, marketing, development and support team in the industry, and exciting the partner community with new programs and initiatives.
Under Adam’s leadership, the ARCserve product earned more than 30 product accolades and awards by building in data deduplication, virtualization and SRM reporting into the CA ARCserve r12.5 release. He also led the creation of ARCserve.com, a dedicated website on storage solutions that receives more than 2,000 hits a day and created 50,000 partner leads in its first year. Most importantly, Adam realigned the sales and marketing teams and reengineered the product development process to deliver ongoing product innovation on a yearly basis. He has been recognized as a Channel Chief for the last two years by Everything Channel’s CRN publication.
Earlier, Adam served as vice president of global channel strategy and partnerships, responsible for channel strategy, programs and global partnerships. He also managed CA Technologies’ global OEM division, ERwin channel sales division and inside channel sales organization.
Adam completed the general management program at Harvard Business School, earned a master of business administration degree from Dowling College and has a bachelor’s degree in business economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta.

KEYNOTE - SALESFORCE.COM (K-03)

Alex Dayon is Executive Vice President of CRM at Salesforce.com. He is responsible for driving the product vision of the Sales Cloud and Service Cloud as well as leading the sales and marketing execution. Alex joined Salesforce.com in September 2008 through the acquisition of InStranet.
Prior to Salesforce.com, Alex was a Founder and CEO of InStranet, a leading Knowledge Base Application, acquired by Salesforce.com in September of 2008. Prior to InStranet, Alex was an officer at Business Objects SA where he ran the product group for more than 10 years. Alex holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering.

KEYNOTE - RIBBIT CORPORATION (K-04)

Crick co-founded Ribbit on the simple premise that voice has value, and that value is in the application of voice. Where the convergence of computers and telephony has been ongoing for some years – the fusion of voice, computers, and applications is the new “value frontier” for telephony. Crick leads Ribbit’s strategy and business development bringing the new frontier of voice-enabled applications to developer, enterprise, and carrier markets.
Prior to starting Ribbit, Crick lead development and delivery of consumer voice and data services including fiber-to-the-home, VoIP, DSL, Wi-Fi, and voice over DSL services for AT&T Consumer Services.
Crick was Director of Value Added Services at NorthPoint Communications where he was responsible for creating services delivered over the company’s high speed data network. During his tenure, he launched one of the Nation’s first voice over DSL services.
Prior to NorthPoint, Crick was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Applied Process Technology, a Silicon Valley company, where he brought this company’s innovation in water treatment technology to market. Crick has also held leadership positions at three separate divisions of International Paper in technology management, process and product development, and business management. Prior to his civilian life, Crick devoted seven years developing nuclear reactor instrumentation and control technology for the U.S. Navy’s fast attack submarine, U.S.S. Seawolf.
Crick has served on the Boards of Directors of the DSL Forum and the International Packet Communications Consortium.
He has B.S.E.E and M.B.A degrees from Duke University, and a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering.

KEYNOTE - FONALITY (K-05)

Dean Mansfield has more than 15 years of sales and executive management experience in the software industry. He was most recently President of Worldwide Sales at NetSuite. Dean was a key member of the executive team that led the rapid growth of NetSuite from 2004 to 2009, culminating with a highly successful IPO in 2007. Prior to joining NetSuite, Dean held senior management and sales leadership positions with Brocade Communications, Plumtree Software and McAfee. Mr. Mansfield holds an honors degree in law from the University of London.

Kevin Gavin is responsible for product line management and marketing for all ShoreTel products. For over 25 years, Gavin has helped high-growth telecommunications companies achieve market-leading status in new market categories by delivering breakthrough products and services directly to businesses and consumers. Gavin's executive experience includes Chief Marketing Officer at GoBeam Communications, a VoIP-based hosted PBX service provider that was purchased by Covad Communications in 2004. Gavin was also Chief Marketing Officer at InternetConnect, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Softnet Systems, Regional VP at Teligent, Corporate VP of Marketing and Product Development at Nextel Communications, and Regional VP of Marketing at McCaw Cellular.
Gavin is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He also attended the Executive Education Program at Stanford University.

KEYNOTE - XIRRUS (K-07)

Mr. Gates currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Xirrus. He brings more than 15 years of executive management experience to Xirrus as well as a track record of success evolving a high-tech startup into a world class, publicly traded company. Having founded Xircom, Inc. in 1988 on the premise of delivering Ethernet connectivity to mobile computers, he attracted venture funding from Greylock, grew the company to 2,000 employees, and achieved revenues of $500M and a market cap in excess of $2B.
During his tenure as Chairman and CEO, Mr. Gates led Xircom into the wireless arena through partnerships and acquisitions that positioned the company to deliver mobility solutions based on IEEE 802.11, GPRS and BlueTooth technologies. He subsequently negotiated the sale of Xircom to Intel Corp. in March of 2001.
Mr. Gates holds a BSEE from California State University at Northridge and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
