VIPeering Conference: In Progress

FEBRUARY 2, 2011

VIPeering Conference: February 2, 2011

Collocated with ITEXPO: Exhibits & Conference: February 2-4, 2011
"The Voice Interconnect and Peering Conference is for Carriers, Service Providers and Enterprises to explore new interconnect paradigms and establish new business relationships that will enable the continued mass adoption of innovative real-time IP multi-media and voice services."
Yesterday's PSTN interconnects are uneconomical and inconvenient as they rely upon out-dated legacy equipment, and can't keep pace with the exciting new services created on IP. Service Providers, Carriers and Enterprises are looking to implement IP level, application aware interconnects. Internet Protocol (IP) is now the defacto network for the mobile community, implemented at the carrier level and utilized by the consumer but often the PSTN is still used to bridge networks in the middle - which limits new service utilization.
VIPeering will explore the technologies, practices and partnerships that carriers and service providers will need to implement in order to keep pace with consumer and business demand for end to end advanced IP communication services
