Keith Chappell leads the Global Communications Applications Practice for Lucent Worldwide Services, providing communication applications consulting, integration, and custom development to service provider firms worldwide. Before joining the services organization, Mr. Chappell served as Lucent's Vice President of Corporate Strategy, working with senior management to set the company's overall corporate strategic direction and to coordinate that direction with Lucent's various business units and functional groups. He also co-directed Lucent's initial Applications Strategy efforts, which became the foundation for several of Lucent's current applications initiatives.
Prior to joining Lucent, Mr. Chappell was a consultant with McKinsey & Company, and previously worked for KPMG Peat Marwick. Earlier in his career, he worked for Ford Aerospace and Rockwell Space Operations Company within the Mission Operations Directorate at the NASA Johnson Space Center.
Keith Chappell holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Rice University, and a master of business administration degree from the University of Texas.
