Jim Foy brings more than three decades of software industry expertise to his role as president, CEO and director of Aspect Software. Under his direction, Aspect has become the world's largest company solely focused on the contact center industry. His ongoing vision for the company is to help its customers gain competitive advantage with solutions that enable more effective and efficient customer-company interactions in collections, customer service and sales and telemarketing. Named 2006 New England Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, Jim was recognized for his extraordinary success in areas including innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to business and community. He also received a 2006 Lifetime Achievement Award from Technology Marketing Corporation for his integral role in the development of the contact center technology and services industry. During his distinguished career, Jim has held several executive positions at leading enterprise software companies. Prior to Aspect, he served as CEO, president and director of Concerto Software and Davox Corporation; president of Informix Software; executive vice president of engineering at Ardent Software; founder, president and CEO of Constellation Software; and director of research and development at Prime Computer.
