As Senior Vice President and General Manager for the AOL Voice Services Group, Ragui Kamel is leading AOL's integrated voice business and is responsible for P&L, overall market strategy, product definition, product management and the day-to-day operations for AOL's suite of Voice Services Products including: AOLbyPhone, AOL Voicemail, AOL Call Alert and the company's full featured VoIP service.

Prior to joining AOL, Kamel served as President, New Generation Systems, at Telcordia Technologies, the former Bellcore, where he led the transformation of the company to a global software business. Also, during a 22-year career with Nortel, he led the residential broadband and network management businesses as well as the software restructuring of the DMS product family and the product development of Nortel's GSM product line.

Kamel received his Bachelors of Science degree in Computing from the University of Manchester in England and his Graduate degree in Computing from McGill University in Montreal.

Mr. Kamel enjoys the outdoors and is an active cyclist, skiier and hiker. He also has a sommelier certificate and is an epicurean. His passion is travel and exploring new places and cultures.
