Thrive Health Recognized as One of Canada's Top Small & Medium Employers for 2024

Thrive Health, a leader in the healthcare technology industry, proudly announced today that they have been named one of Canada's Top Small & Medium Employers for 2024. This recognition highlights Thrive's commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive workplace that prioritizes employee well-being and growth.

Thrive Health's dedication to nurturing team members is evident through its focus on professional development, transparent career paths, and holistic employee support programs that include financial and personal wellness. With an emphasis on connection and core values, Thrive Health aims to empower every team member to make a meaningful impact through their work.

"We are honoured and humbled to have been recognized as one of Canada's Top Small and Medium Employers," said Ashley Snape, Vice President, Corporate Services. "We are deeply committed to fostering a culture of growth, career development, and support for all our team members. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of each individual on the Thrive Health team, and I am incredibly proud to be part of an organization that prioritizes the well-being and professional development of its employees."

Limited to smaller enterprises with under 500 employees, Canada's Top Small & Medium Employers focuses on SMEs that are often resource-constrained, both in terms of finances and organizational capacity. However, they are nimble and have more dexterity: they adopt initiatives faster than large employers, in many cases based on employee feedback and being closer to front-line operations. In addition, SMEs are often more willing to try bold HR initiatives that are untested elsewhere.

"What's remarkable about the employers on this year's list is how quickly and effectively they've worked to create rewards and other programs developed from employee input," says Kristina Leung, Managing Editor of Canada's Top 100 Employers project. "SMEs have enviable levels of customization, flexibility, and speed-of-implementaion that are difficult for larger employers to match."

"Thrive Health's culture is rooted in our five core values- Be Bold, Be Innovative, Be Transparent, Be Inclusive, and Be Humble," says Snape. "But we're not a company where we just have our core values posted on the wall. Our values are how we operate day to day, from how we recruit to how we develop our people. We believe values should be actionable, not abstract. Our leadership teams work hard to articulate concrete examples of how Thrivers can embody each core value in their unique roles."

Now in its 11th year, Canada's Top Small & Medium Employers is an editorial competition that recognizes the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that offer the nation's best workplaces and forward-thinking human resources policies. Editors at Mediacorp review employers on eight criteria, which have remained consistent since the project's inception: (1) Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement.
