Everstream Analytics Leaders Named Top Women in Supply Chain
Everstream Analytics, the global supply chain insights and risk analytics company, announced today that Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive named Heather Kosztowny, Director of Data Science and Jena Santoro, Senior Manager of Supply Chain Risk at Everstream as winners of this year's Women in Supply Chain Award. They are recognized for their accomplishments, mentorship and the example they set for other women.
"I'm thrilled to see Heather and Jena recognized by Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive for this prestigious award," said Julie Gerdeman, CEO of Everstream Analytics. "Jena and Heather are invaluable leaders within our organization, bringing with them a wealth of unique perspectives, advanced expertise, and an unwavering determination to enhance supply chain resilience and sustainability on a global scale. Heather's people-centered approach to leveraging AI for solving supply chain challenges, coupled with her commitment to driving user-focused innovation and Jena's exceptional industry knowledge and global risk intelligence leadership, play a pivotal role in our ability to help companies safeguard their supply systems from potential disruptions. Moreover, their unwavering dedication to driving Everstream's mission, providing expert support to our customers, and nurturing the next generation of leaders is truly inspiring."
In 2023, Kosztowny led the design of Everstream Connect, a solution that provides a digital representation of the flow of goods through networks by mapping logistics flows, identifying risks and limitations impacting the network, and making recommendations to reduce risk. Santoro leads a regional team of analysts that provide real-time, end-to-end supply chain risk intelligence, helping ensure business continuity and risk mitigation for clients across a wide range of industries.
"This year, we received over 400 submissions, the highest amount of applications not only for this award, but also for all of our awards," said Marina Mayer, Editor-in-Chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "What's more, 118 of those applications were submitted by male counterparts, nominating their boss, co-worker or associate. Last year, that figure was just at 75. Also, this year, 39 women self-nominated, a tremendous uptick from last year's award, which just saw 12 self-nominations. This shows progress. This shows hope that one day, we won't need an award like this because men and women in the supply chain will be equal. While there's still more work to be done, what we're doing is working. From truck drivers to CEOs, what these winners are doing matters to the future of all supply chains."
