VLCM Celebrates 40 Years of Helping Utah Get IT RightVLCM, the biggest IT solution provider in the State of Utah, marks its 40th anniversary. VLCM will be celebrating its 40th anniversary throughout 2023 through online and in-person events, starting at VLCM's IT eXchange Conference and Trade Show on March 22, 2023, at Mountain America Expo Center. IT eXchange is VLCM's marquee event and is open to all IT professionals free thanks to VLCM's participating partners. The one-day show features over 50 IT vendors, 24 presentations geared to optimizing IT strategy, and gamified participation with thousands in prizes and swag. VLCM started as a company that sold center-pivot irrigation systems to farmers. "We thought farmers could use computers to make teir life a little easier, so we applied to be an IBM reseller," said VLCM's Founder, Rich Linton. "We were chosen out of a pool of three-hundred applicants to distribute the IBM PC throughout the West. Since then, we expanded from just a handful of employees to more than 130 employees today."
