The two-day event featured keynote presentations from motivational speaker Reggie Butler and best-selling author Tyler McNamer. It also included interactive opportunities for peer engagement, insights from industry-leading research and a live Q&A with speakers on topics ranging from parent-mediated care to social determinants of health to the power of choice and belonging.

"We're here to change people's lives in ways that are important to them," said Dr. Tracy Gayeski, senior vice president of Catlight Care Services. "Through our innovative, individualized services, we're helping to strengthen clients' skills, empower and educate caregivers, and support the overall wellbeing of families."

The conference addressed many challenges facing individuals with developmental disabilities and their families and caregivers. Examples included perspectives on the measurement of wellbeing, diagnosing health issues in the face of communications challenges, and safety measures to protect individuals in busy, public places or near open water.

"Enhancing Your Impact brings people together to share the latest evidence-based treatment options, best practices and strategies for delivering effective person-centered care," said Gayeski. "Together, we learn, grow and support one another with compassion and enthusiasm as we build our capacity to care."

More than 600 attendees participated in this inspiring two-day virtual conference, held January 26 and 27. Board Certified Behavior Analysts and qualified mental health professionals earned between 10 and 12 continuing education units, nearly a year's worth of credit, at no cost.
